Major Donation for Homebuilding

The Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA) offered a $6,000 donation to Olive Branch International to support the construction of homes in Sri Lanka for soldiers that lost them due to the December 2004 tsunami. A ceremony was held at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Washington DC hosted by Ambassador Bernard Goonetilleke and attended by Embassy staff for Turkey and Representatives from ATAA and OBI. In addition, the U.S Army Carlisle Barrack Chapel recently provided nearly $5000 in donations for homes.
